課程概述

植物與動物的互動可以影響到許多生態系的變動, 因此植物與動物的關係在自然界中扮演了重要的角色. 本課程由淺入深, 先介紹植物與動物的互動機制, 然後延伸到自然界中複雜的案例, 最後討論這個領域內一些最新的發展 (global change impacts on plant-animal interactions, restoration of plant-animal communities). 本課程將以英文授課, 但以中文作課堂討論, 以確保學生對課程有深入的了解. 如天氣許可,本課程將會利用台大校園來探討植物與動物的關係(1-2堂課). 

課程目標
 幫助學生了解此生態學領域的發展, 並給予學生練習討論及發表報告的機會. 
課程要求
 1. 對此領域有興趣者, 不須預修課程, 然只需湊足學分者不宜選修.
2. 參與第一堂課將對學習本課程有關鍵性的影響.
